DT&T replaced the scratched-up ones (no charge) that my 2400 had when I sent it to them, so they probably have a few spares.
Oddly enough, it was an Apple-certified tech place (VOYUS) here in Winnipeg that scratched mine up in the first place. I had taken it in for serious GLOD to see if they could fix it (I'm in Canada), they said "sure, no problem", never having seen a 2400 before. I offered all the resources I had (from this list, the web) about the book and their attitude was "Oh we're Apple-certified, we have everything we need. Two days later I get a call, "sorry we can't fix it." And my once-minty book comes back with scratched-up screw hole plugs. Man was I pissed off! Before I took it in it kind of crackled a bit trying to start up and I got a grey screen. After getting it back from VOYUS it was completely dead. Thanks to DT&T it has been completely reliable ever since (2yrs). Andy ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
