>Guys, >What's the correct type of paint to use on computers? I'd like to >spraypaint a IIsi blue (among other things), but don't want to melt >the plastic. Suggestions?
Actually a good paint will melt your plastic *just a little bit*, in order to bond well. The paint you choose depends on how tough a bond you need. For a desktop, your choices are many. For a laptop, where durability is paramount, look for something tough. The 'Pactra' paints from Testors, designed for radio controlled cars, is exceedingly durable, but requires a ton of prep and finish work. It is what I used on my 2400c, and is just now, after well over a year of hard, daily use, showing very very small amounts of wear. --chuck --chuck goolsbee geek wrangler, digital.forest inc, bothell, wa <http://www.forest.net> list mom, mac-mgrs mailing list... <http://www.mac-mgrs.org> ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
