I second this one. I have a couple of 280cs and a 2300c and I use my 280s far more than my 2300. Especially since I got 7.1 running on my 280c :) It just flies, and even with Open Transport, the Appearance stuff, and other addons it still only uses 2.8 megs of RAM with the modem turned off (3.3 megs with it on).
Don't upgrade it unless you need to run some PPC software. Scott Holder At 09:06 PM 4/18/2002 -0700, you wrote: >Don't do it. 280s are snappier than 2300s, even with both running 8.1 >(equal RAM).
