I have never ( 5 different 2400c )seen this mylar piece for the ram shield.
I am assuming that you are talking in fact about the
Mylar on the motherboard (between the Motherboard and the ram chips)

Then again just because I haven't seen it does not mean it does not exist.

Anyone else care to coment.
