When I try to use SCSI Disk Mode to connect my 6100 and Duo 2300 I've been getting the following message: "System Error "" Illegal operation." A quick Google search indicated that this was some kind of bus error but no gave no clear directions on how to clear it up.
SCSI Disk Mode had worked until I installed 7.6.1 on the Duo. I have a hybrid system with elements of 7.6.1 and some extensions from 8.5 and 8.1 that seem to work ok. I updated the driver for the duo with Drive Setup 1.6.1 because it's supposed to clear up problems with 2300's and SCSI Disk Mode! After battling with the 6100 and the Duo I also updated the driver on the 6100, but now I'm going to bed because I'm too tired and frustrated to try SCSI Disk Mode again. Frank C. Modica 501 E.
