Dear Gurus,
Although nobody has provided me with auto off/on I can use on my
2400c/240/7.6.1, I remain hopeful.
And Mr. Bon has been kind enough to ask a computer question I can
answer. "Why," he inquires, "7.61.?"
7.6.1 is small, reliable and, with PopUpFolder installed, more
agile than 8.6. I use my 2400 for Word Perfect (much), Quicken, Eudora and
Explorer 5. By my timing it took 7.6 (poor connection PC Card modem) two
minutes to bring up EBay's search page. 8.6 )same machine) closer to three
minutes. Donald McCaig
