I put a Thunder IV GX 1360 in my Duo Dock II today to display 24 bit colours with acceleration on the Apple Multiscan 17. After retrieving RadiusWare 3.3 and 3.4.1 of the net, I installed 3.4.1 and everything worked as it should with OS7.6.
However, the big disappointment is that the Radius software doesn't like RAM Doubler. I've tried all combinations (including renaming either the Radius software or RD) between RAM Doubler 2.0.2 or 8.0.1 and RadiusWare 3.3 or 3.4.1 but the machine simply either craches (with RD 8) or the Radius software is disabled on startup (with RD2). Also, the Radius DSP extension is disabled when I turn VM in the Memory CP. Is this a known incompatibility of the Radius software and VM or VM programs? Is there anything else I could try to get the benefit of using the card with RAM Doubler? Finally, is there a later version of RadiusWare (I found a RadiusWare PCI 1.1 but haven't tried since I have a Nubus card)? Francois Rossi ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
