Wow... how weird. I'm actually the winner, but I made a proxy bid two days before the auction closed and (like most proxy bids) figured I'd get outbid by someone, since sniping is so prevalent. It's so rare that the "proxy" bidding system on eBay actually works. I'm still kind of stunned that I won this... it is a pretty amazing price. What's even more bizarre is that I had forgotten about this auction (assuming no way I'd win), so I actually found out that I had won from Ralph's post. And for the record, I'm not a reseller... this machine will become my new day-to-day machine.
