Hi from the middle of the Exe in Devon - clouding over!
I'm completely new to macs (emulated one years ago on an Amiga!)
I have been given a 270c upgraded to a 2300c conditional on the copying of some files.
I have now got a mini dock and floppy and that seems OK. But I wanted to print to an
Epson 600 and need to get a small enough driver to go on a floppy the Epson site one
is 3.5 MB. Or can I split it on the pc and recombine it with stuffit?
Also the modem makes dialling sounds but these do not appear on the phone line (if I
listen in) is there any way of testing beyond that? I can't get any joy with the
serial port when I try to connect to a Newton that came with it either. But it could
be down to my ignorance of the settings!
The sytem is 7.5.2 and seems ok but the Pram batt is gone (looses the time when shut
down and disconnected from mains?)
