There was a thread awhile back about this, some people were up in arms 
about people giving away the "trade secrets" of the shops that do this. 
Apparently the 2400c was intended to be Cardbus compliant, but some issues 
came up too close to shipping so Apple ran the jumper wire to disable the 
Cardbus. All you have to do on most of the boards is take that off, and 
it's supposed to work.
