I'm not sure about the Cache, but I wonder if there's much advantage 
with a ram startup volume over what I'm doing now, which is 
appdisk(ram) with a text editor on auto startup. I say this because 
ya still have to save to disk.

I've got two batteries total 2 1/2 hrs at full power, and a possible 
3 day bus trip I'm wondering about.
Be interested to hear what others have say about it..
