Hi there,
Since the reserve was not met on the above mentioned auction, the high
bidder decided not to
go through with the transaction. You were next in line, so I figured I
would ask if you would
like the Memory Module for your high bid of $276.50 + $5.00 if you are
located in the US.

Let me know, or else I will have to keep going down the list. Just so
you know, I paid
$369.00 + shipping for this item.

Mark

I said I would take it to honor my bid

Then I got

Hi Chris,

OK, I would appreciate it if you could use www.bidpay.com to send me a money
order in the amount of $281.50 (winning bid + shipping.) You can send the
payment to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks,
You will enjoy the item. My PowerBook 2400 seemed to run faster with the
RAM installed.

Mark

Then he backed out:

Hi Chris,

Please hold off on sending me a payment for this item as the original bidder
seems to have changed his mind. I am going to give him a second chance, but
if he stiffs me again the memory module will be yours if you want it. I
will let you know by tomorrow night.

Thanks for your patience,
Mark

He said he would let me know by tomorrow night then I see this on DuoList

PowerBook 2400 96MB Memory Module.

Asking $350.
Email me off list if you are interested ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).

Mark

I have a 2400c with 80Meg and with using RamDoubler I really have never
seen the need for the larger memory. I had hoped that the price would
come down from around $400 but it hasn't. My bid was really more than I
wanted to spend on it but thought I try anyway. I wasn't surprised when
I didn't get the item via eBay. I sent a message stating that whoever
bid the highest didn't honor his bid wasn't right. I have 136 Stars on
eBay and have always kept my word. He offered it to me I accepted and
then he backed out on the condition that the original high bidder would
want it. If not then back to me then I see him offering it on DuoList
for $350. Just to let the listers know everything before they might want
to get this item.

Sincerely Long time lister
