heh. Good to see that your sense of humor survived the disk crash. Did you notice I "pulled a ralph" and misspelled your name above? =) I just checked my 2400c, and it has a pretty stock 8.6 install. I know some people drop newer CarbonLib and Airport files (and sometimes newer Sherlock's... but I *hate* the OS 9 sherlock interface)... Maybe you should surf through the list archives and see if you mentioned any of the extensions you may have updated. Wasn't there a "what's in my System Folder" thread about a year or two ago? On a couple of completely unrelated notes: I'm seriously considering selling my "spare" 2400c along with some parts I have collected over the years.
