Hi all. I just joined this list cause I have a problem. I have a PowerBook Duo 280 with a fresh install of 7.5.3. I also installed the Apple Internet Connection Kit, circa 1996. After telling the Apple Internet Dialer my internet settings, it gives me an error that reads
"The serial port that was selected to be used by PPP seems to be in use by something else. If Apple Talk is active it may be using this serial port preventing PPP from using it." This is strange for two reasons... AppleTalk is inactive and i dont have a PPP control panel to begin with, it didnt give me one. Whats wrong????
