That's par for the course. Football was banned for a while in England a 
few hundred years ago - why? Because of the violence and deaths. The 
sport engenders violence like none other.

I always thought the French "revolution" was a kind of precursor of 
communism, "What about the poor woikers?" "We're all equal except some of 
us are more equal than others."

There is even a French proverb about it which translates as something 
like, "The more things change, the more they stay the same." (Plus ca 
change, plus ca reste le meme.)
