Hello,

I just got my freshly cardbus upgraded 2400 back from MCE. I have one of the
IBM firewire cards that Otherworld was selling. I noticed the computer locks
up when booting with the card in with OS9, but OK with OS8.6. Is this
normal? If I insert the card after startup, the card shows up on the desktop
with a generic icon and no name. Is this normal?

I just tried hooking up my Sony camcorder to the computer and tried to use a
couple of shareware apps (BTV and SmartVideo) to capture some video. Both
report an error trying to initialize the input. "If you're using a DV device
make sure it's turned on, plugged in

Firewire cardbus enabler 1.0.1
Firewire support 2.7
Firewire enabler 2.7
OS 8.6/9.1
G3240

So is there a piece of the puzzle I'm missing here? Some sort of DV
extension?

Andy
