I use an Apple Colorsync monitor: hardware calibration works fine on the 2400c and the image quality is superb. What's more, the monitor has a pass-through ADB connector, so you can leave your keyboard and mouse connected to the monitor and in order to attach the 2400c you only have to plug the monitor cables (video and ADB) to the computer. Beats using a dock hands down.
