A few nibbles last time, but no sale. So, once again :

One modified Duo for sale:

Based off of a Duo 280c

A 68040 running at 37.5 MHz (overclocked from the original 33 MHz)
An improved heat pad repalces the apple heat pad
16 megs of RAM (4 on the motherboard + a 12 meg SIMM)
A 320 meg hard drive
An ADB port in the place of the modem
A 640x480 active matrix color screen (1-2 dead pixels at most)
A hard drive activity light (red color) has been added under the
trackball, and the Apple trackball has been
replaced with a clear plastic ball
The CAPS LOCK light has been replaced with a red color unit
The green sleep LED has been replaced with a red LED
Added red reflective highlights on the LCD

AC adapter is also available, as well as a new PRAM battery if you
want one (at cost).

I would like $40, OBO. I can do trades, too.

I have pics of this unit at:

I also have a modified Duo 230, and some PB 520c for sale. I can
also dome some custom work for these units.
