I have two offices. At each office, I have an LCIII. I used to carry
PowerBook 180c as my "on-the-road" machine, and hook it up in SCSI
mode to the LCs when back in the office. Well, the 180 went belly up,
so I got me this slick little PowerBook 1400cs off eBay. Problem is,
I can't use it in SCSI mode with the LCs. I get an error message
telling me that the computer can't handle disk drives bigger than, I
believe it said, 2 gigabytes. Well, the 1400 has a little 750 MB hard
drive, so I don't know what the LC is talking about.

I can, however, using the same cabling, hook it up in SCSI mode to my
DuoDock (PowerBook 280c). What gives?
