Hey guys...I'm the messenger, not the seller. ;-)

There's no question you can get lots more power for what a loaded 
2400/G3 is selling for, but  the same reasons that drive folks to pay 
$300-400+ for a basic 2400 on eBay, basically drives the $600-1100 
price folks have paid for loaded 2400/G3s in the last few months.

If it wasn't for the the RAM limit and overall age of the machine, I 
think used 2400s would continue to blow the newer machines out of the 
water for some time.

Me?...I think a 2400 is 'worth' around $250...and maybe $600 for the 
G3, but  my opinion is pretty worthless, since I've only been able to 
buy one at those prices. ;-)   Actually, given the heat sensitivity 
of the 2400/180, I'd probably only buy a an Interware/Vimage G3 at 
this point in the product's life cycle.
