Hello, Just got my 2400 upgraded and was wondering if it really is the case with this firewire card that you cannot boot with the card in. Seems to be working great otherwise, I am able to capture DV to external HD just great.
BTW, if you're thinking about getting one of those cheap IBM firewire cards for use with the 2400, in a word, don't. If anyone is really interested I will pass along my experience.
