Patrick, All of the 2400's come with 16 megs of RAM soldered on the motherboard. There is just one "upgrade slot" on this motherboard and any RAM configuration that's over 16MB and less than 80MB, would have to be "removed and replaced" with a "higher capacity stick". Of which, the highest capacity stick at least sold in the US is a 64MB dimm (giving you 80MB of RAM). Those can be found for about $80.00. But then, you will need to tear into the "upper level" of your PowerBook (or PAY SOMEONE)to add that RAM. Personally, I'd try to buy a 2400 with as much RAM already installed.

Particularly as it might appear on eBay or from a vendor (if any). I would be most appreciative for any help with this. Patrick Baum ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
