I have a HP DW 320 printer connected to the Printer Port of a Duo Dock Plus with a serial cable. Every time I print from my docked Duo 2300c the printer prints a blank page (except for one or more small squares in the upper left-hand corner of the sheet) before printing the actual page. This happens on every print job.
I am using System 7.6.1, OTP 1.1.2, HP DW serial driver 6.0.3. AppleTalk is OFF. I have tried the following with no improvement: 1. using different serial cables 2. a DW 600 (with the appropriate driver) 3. a different Duo Dock Plus 4. using a very basic system on a RAM disk: System, Finder, Chooser, DW driver 5. zapping the PRAM using TechTool 6. resetting the printer port with CommCloser The printer will print correctly however if switched to the Modem Port; however the modem doesn't work correctly on the printer port (slow and hangs up). Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jim Hays ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
