??? When you install a new version of OE, you should just be able to replace the new Identities folder with your old one. (At least if you're going from one version 5 to the next. If you're going from 4.5 to 5, there are very good instructions in the README file.) If you came from OE, the new OE will either use the old databases (if you're doing a minor version upgrade) or will easily import them if you're doing a 4.5 to 5 (and probably even from an earlier version).
