I never saw the first thread--whenever that was--about the battery possibilities. Maybe others are in the same boat and just don't know so your order list hasn't grown...powerbook 2400c users have already proven they would pay extra for quality if, by nothing else, purchasing Apple products. I find the largest limiting factor of the PB2400 behind compatibility issues is a portable powersource, not necessarily the speed bump issue (we are all limited by a pretty slow bus speed by today's standards anyway). If I understand this correctly a replica battery can be made with a life comparable to the icebook battery (over 3 hours...possible 5) for less that 200 dollars?!??!?!?!????!!!!!!!! Hell I paid 250 each for "new" batteries that max gave 1.75 hours. Did I misunderstand? is this a bulky external battery maybe? If it is a replacement for my ailing set of three (total 4.5 hours cumulative life) I'll take it! Please put me on the list and re-advertise so others can jump on-board!! Finally 3-5 hours at the coffee shop without a powerplug!!!!! Thanks for your time in creating another 2400c-life-extending solution!
