There is a battery reconditioning software that works with 280c and 2300 but I can't remember if it works with 270c. I'm sure it won't work with older Duos though. And as for the case, it's a real PITA to remove the cover. There's 4 latches on the front between the trackball clicker and the right side. You have to slide the top part forward to get all 4 tabs out and then lift it up to remove it completely. Only _ONCE_ I managed to take the cover off without breaking a single eyelets, I usually break at least 2 in the process :p It'd probably be easier to remove the 2 screen hinge cover off (they slide outward) before trying to get the cover off. BTW the PRAM battery is right under the bottom clicker, next to the sleep switch (lid down sense switch) and to me it looks like 2 CR2032 batteries sandwiched together with 3 wires (red from positive side, black from negative side, and white from in between the battery.) ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
