I've had a serial port problem since the recent purchase of a Palm. While I can happily Hot-Sync the Palm m100 with my Duo 2300 through the printer port, I can't seem to get my printer port to work for anything else. Whenever I try to access the printer port for printing to my Personal LaserWriter (serial printer) or to file share with my 6100, I get error messages saying that another application is using that port. I've turned off Appletalk, restarted the computer and zapped the PRAM. What kind of serial port voodoo rain dance do I need to perform to free up that port?
