Hello list,

Well, I have just acquired a new Sony NetMD walkman, you know, the
minidisc player that connects via USB. I thought, 'Well, I don't need to
connect via USB...I will just record and manage by line in and the little
thumb wheel.' Plus, there is no Mac program that will allow me to manage
the MD player, anyway. Today, though, I got bored and popped the OpenMG
Jukebox CD into my roomate's Dell (*gag*) and installed the software. I
then hooked up the MD player and had an epiphany. Windows lets me manage my
minidisc collection like nothing else available! Long story short, I want
to purchase a Sony VAIO and sell my beloved 2400c to finance the whole deal.
So here is where you guys come in: What price is fair to ask for her and is
anyone interested?

PowerBook 2400c/180 with stock chip
80 Megs of RAM
10 GB Hitachi (I believe) hard disk
Farallon EtherMac 10Base-T card (new as of two days ago)
Floppy drive, door and cable
Apple 'Yo-Yo' AC adapter (made in Thailand, not the flaky one)
Main battery holds a charge of 2.5 hours; 2nd holds for .5 hour
Wetsuit 2.0 carrying case in blue
Apple 300e CD drive and caddy with SCSI cable and power cord
LaserWriter 300 printer with power cord and serial cable

The machine is in absolutely wonderful condition. The keys aren't even
too shiny yet. Has lived nearly exclusively as a desk machine. Slight
scuff on bottom, but the rest of the case is spectacular. And the screen is
tested to be perfect. It is currently running OS 9.0.4 with the latest
CarbonLib and much software (for evaluation, blah, blah) that I will leave
on the drive. I paid $450 for the machine itself on eBay in February 2002,
$30 on the Farallon card, $35 on the adapter, $7.50 for the case, $20 for
the 300e drive and $45 for the printer. I would like to get $550 out of all
of it, but I am willing to negotiate reasonably. Let me know if you have a
price suggestion, or if you are interested. Ideally, I would like to sell
on list, but I can go to eBay, too.

    Thanks alot.

Nick
