Hi, 'Listers, sorry 'bout not being able to post much, but have been busy (work... bummer... and I DON'T have a TT..... Brandy, you test my patience on occasion with such tempting comments!!! <<grin>>) (And I'd probably get the supercharged MiniCooper before a TT anyway....used to race against the originals when I rally raced).
ANYWAY.....I digress. I've got a good 2300 screen surplus to my needs. Works great, good plastics except someone wrote across the back of the unit with a sharpie or similar. Haven't tried to remove it w/any chemicals (yet). Tried it on my 2300, backlight is good, screen is nice and clear. Make me a reasonable offer. Also have a complete 2300/280 for sale. Trackball, 280 color screen, 36 megs RAM, 750 meg HD and modem, OS8 loaded. Keyboard will need cleaning. $100 or so? If someone needs a 280 color screen, would be willing to swap the above display onto the 2300 frame to free up a 280 screen. I also have a complete trackpad sans handrest. This is the pad, that wonderful ribbon cable that is so bloody easy to tear, the clicker and the metal ground strip which goes around the edge. How about $25 shipped? I've also got a 340 meg SCSI HD for a Duo, as well as an extra Duo modem (19.2 Global Village) hanging around in the Duo Box. Reasonable offers, natch. I'll also have a bunch of 3400 parts to be offered out...basically 3 complete units less displays, as well as a Quadra 650, a dead Personal Laserwriter NT and a couple of 21" Apple monitors (for the deadunits...anyone need parts?? I'll break them down for parts if anyone needs something). If you have a need, lemme know ASAP, as I'll be posting them on the LEM list sometime this week. Wife's on my case to clean out part of my office to make room for her treadmill (harrumph!) As Brando would say, "Make me an offer I can't refuse."
