Has anyone on the list tried to use 10.1 or 10.2 on a Wall Street 233 mhz? I mean the first generation model without the L2 cache, not the second-generation 233 model which did include it (Main Street).
I remember that using my Newer G3/240 in my 2400 without the cache enabling software made it run at speeds comparable to the original 603/180. I now have only the 603, and running OS X on my 2400 is a painful experience (though still fun, of course). I realize there are architectural differences between the Wall Street and the 2400 (better video chipset, more VRAM, faster bus, more RAM), but I still wonder whether it's worth the effort to install it. I'd be curious to know if anyone has tried, and what their results were. Thanks Ivan. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
