hehe.  I'm in the research division.  Biomaterials engineering.
Couldn't get em to okay me the diamond saws for cutting plastic (melts 
and messes up the saw).  Took a look at the alum bits and ended up 
using a razor blade.  Until I got bored and just ripped it open.  That 
worked pretty well as I got it to fracture at the plastic welds.  Stays 
together without any cement.  Not much to look at apart though.  Oh, 
also in my impatience I tried to wedge it with a screwdriver.  I don't 
recommend this.  Plastic's soft.  Dents more than it prys.  Cut about 
half way on each side the pulled open with my hands, snapping the 
obstinent bits with the razor.  Took a half hour for the first half and 
ten mins for the second.
You should see the endo saws though.  I've got a set I use for opening 
copper wire casings.  Hacksaws with sub millimeter cutting edges?  
That's what I'm talkin about
