Well, I'm not an expert in ASL but I used to attend school that had deaf students who communicated by ASL. The letter K is easy. You have your index finger pointing up, and you use the middle finger and thumb to form the shape of the letter K. Letter P is the same as K except you rotate your hand 90 degree so your index finger is horizontal and your middle finger is almost straight down. Q is the same as G but with your fingers pointing down like P. Some other signs are rather obvious and usually won't need any help translating. For example, milk. Just pretent you're milking a cow and that's the sign for milk. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
