Well, I'm not an expert in ASL but I used to attend school that had deaf
students who communicated by ASL.

The letter K is easy.  You have your index finger pointing up, and you use
the middle finger and thumb to form the shape of the letter K.

Letter P is the same as K except you rotate your hand 90 degree so your
index finger is horizontal and your middle finger is almost straight down.

Q is the same as G but with your fingers pointing down like P.

Some other signs are rather obvious and usually won't need any help
translating.  For example, milk.  Just pretent you're milking a cow and
that's the sign for milk.
