It runs, more or less, on mine. INIT hangs and forces me to Alt-F2 to another console to log in and do anything. I've been told it's a result of the lack of FPU, but who knows.
The main problem now is a lack of supported ethernet devices. It makes getting a useful system going a bit difficult. I'm probably going to try it on a 210 just to see what it does. According to >Motorola's official errata, any chip with a mask revision less than >2E71M has the bug. Specifically, revision 2E23G, used in the LC 475, >has been confirmed to be buggy. ( from <http://www.mac.linux-m68k.org/docs/faq.php#sec-4.5> ) So you might want to check the chip. Or, just install it on th 280 and see if it misbehaves horribly. You can always transplant the drive into a 270. ;) ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
