Dear Gurus,
I have recently inherited a pile of old Macs including a Duo 2300c (40 megs
OS 8.1, Netscape, Eudora). There is a minidock, and 5 DuoDocks I have
tried to get on line with it to no avail. I get a message that says:
Netscape is unable to locate the server: home.netscape.com The server
does not have a DNS entry. Check the server name in the location (URL) and
try again.>
What now?
i have tried with both the 14.4 internal modem and an external 56K US
Robotics one as well. Same result.
I am currently using a 6100/66 PowerMac with 40 megs of ram and OS 8.6.
Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.
I would like to set up the DUO with everything that is on My 6100. (i.e.
Palm, photos, email adresses, etc, How am I going to do this?
What OS do I need/want. 8.6 or no. How do I cet it installed?
I'm an idiot. Any help will be gratefully and humbly appreciated.
