Hello all,
I picked up a PB 2400c/180 today at surplus auction. I'm pretty tied
to my Pismo, but the form factor of this one really caught my eye and
the price was right -- although I probably overspent since it was DOA
at the site. I reset the power manager and plugged it in, and it
seems to be fine. The 1.2 GB hard drive might get upgraded, etc.,
but I'm delighted it powered up.
The idea that I could speed it up a touch with a G3 is incredibly
enticing. I was hoping that someone on the list might have done the
upgrade, or point me to an FAQ or good source of information. The
2400c seems to have a cult-like following. :-)
I would appreciate any good direction.
Best,
Joel
