I am using Claris Emailer 2.0v3 to write this message. It works great on
my 2400. Only downside is it does not open HTML mail but that can be a
bonus because sometimes opening HTML alerts spammers that you read their
message.

No doubt the problem is the email account field. This was not one of
Claris' better ideas. They have the user name and the POP server combined
there with an ampersand (@) separating them. It should have been two
fields.

On one POP server(alt-N's Mdaemon), the user name had also an asterisk in
it so it was IMPOSSIBLE to use Emailer because the user/pop field looked
like "user@[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Emailer would pick up [EMAIL PROTECTED] as the POP
server. We were able to talk alt-n into allowing another character in the
user name field to mail Email happy.
