I have a 2300c running OS 8.5 and have a Newer Tech Ethernet MicroDock
attached to it with a twisted pair cable. I've used it before to connect to
my old 7500, and more recently to my brother's iBook and had no problems.
But trying to connect to my G4 running OSX I keep getting a message that
there's no Ethernet card in the 2300. I tried rebooting into OS9, and all I
get is crashes.

I used Conflict Catcher to try & isolate the problem, and came up with the
TCP/IP extension, along with the other networking extensions, which leads me
to think it may be a software conflict, other than that my MicroDock went
bad all of a sudden. But I just get get it to work.

Anyone else successfully using their 2300 on a network?

Thanks,

JAckie
