2400 Three batteries About to hit long travel segment. And have managed to gather together three batteries.
What's the deal with switching between them when on battery power? Assume a shutdown necessary, or is there a couple of useful seconds within the sleeping circuits for the changeover? Seem to remember a gadget in my PowerBook 160 days, that was simply a 9v battery attached to a power cord plug. You'd temporarily attach to power socket of powerbook, then swap batteries in sleep.
