Craig,

Not sure on the FSTN, but the TFT stands for 'Thin Film Transistor', the type of Active Matrix screen.

Ciao,

Subject: [Duo2400] FSTN / TFT ports on 2300c Mobo
Date: Sun, 27 Oct 2002 20:30:47 EST

I have a question about a Duo 2300c Mobo that I have:

Of the connectors on the board, as labled by the Service Manual ; I figured
out that the TFT connector is for the Active Matrix color screen, but what
does TFT stand for?

Also, there is another connector on the board, labled FSTN. It looks like
another screen connector, perhaps for a passive matrix or non-color screen??

Thanks for the help in advance,

Craig W.
