Greetings: I'd like to max out the memory in a 2400. Does someone know what type of memory is required by the PB2400c/180 (and a good source)?
I trotted off to the local authorized Apple dealer and bought a 64 MB SO DIMM. The DIMM fit perfectly in the 2400 but was not recognized by the OS at boot time. We tried different DIMMs as well as three different sizes - none were recognized. Does the 2400 need an SO DIMM which is different than the SO DIMMs required by the iBook?
