Well, if you mean the RAM chips, they might (probably) are the same thing. The RAM cards are very different. The 3400 uses a 5300/190 style card. The 2400 uses (from what I have seen) an SODIMM similar to modern designs.Why was it that the 2400 can't use the 3400s RAM? Or was it that it just can't use the 128MB module because the controller can't handle it?
