With a 6 gig hard drive you won't be able to use SCSI disk mode. The 2400 will corrupt data with any hard drive over 4 Gigs when used in SCSI disk mode. Some have reported that it won't if the partitions are all under 4 Gigs but I think it's if the hard drive itself is over 4 Gigs.
