there are still Omnitek 64 mb chips on ebay I have one and it works fine for months now.
it was $30ish these are advertised as 2400c ram chips also
a while back there were some listers who
had trouble with a bad batch of chips but i think they were very good supporting returns.
They were able to track down the source of the trouble.
I got a replacement chip prior to installation just to be safe.
no problems yet ... and $30 is cheap.
the problem was same , 64mb showing as 32
perhaps worth checking on returming the chips?
Just bought two new Edge Memory brand 64 MB RAM modules, specifically identified for the 2400.
Both modules only showing as 32 MB (for a total of 48 in "About This Computer") in my 2400.
I tried a PRAM reset already. No luck.
Am I missing something, or are both modules bad ram?
