It has nothing to do with OS support. For it to happen, someone would have to specifically design a device and write a device driver for it, and no one has done so AFAIK. I and others have explained why using other adapters won't work. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Again, please prove me wrong. I would love to learn something cool and new. I just don't think it helps the list out to claim that something unlikely has worked without backing it up with specifics.
