Which 8.6 extensions must I install on my 7.6.1 to use the
appearance cp?

By 8.6, all the Appearance stuff was integrated into the System. You'll have to either find a copy of 8.1 to get the Appearance Extension from, or download the standalone Appearance SDK and get the stuff out of it.
