For whatever it's worth, I've done web browsing, email, and Ebay/Paypal transactions with an even slower Apple laptop, a 540c. Tried Netscape, ICab, and IE 4. Found Netscape the most able to deal with the limitations of the equipment and still get work done on the web, albeit slowly. Paul Simons
