It would be possible but you are dreaming if you want 10 hours out of laptop batteries, might as well use the AC adapter or a car lighter adapter. Not even new laptops can go 10 hours on a charge. Remember these batteries have a limited life the chemicals inside break down and can not recover unless replaced with new chemicals. Simple chemistry and physics. I looked at the site, it is nothing but a big battery, kind of like sliming down your car battery and carry it with you. It is basically a large portable Lithium-ion battery. I think it would be cheaper to find a auto adapter for your PowerBook unless you fly a lot then a portable powersupply might help.

Compatible laptops- http://www.valence.com/pdffiles/Compatibility_Guide.pdf

I remember seeing this advertised some time ago and thought that it would be great for
laptop
users- especially anyone with aging laptops whose batteries are hard to find!

Sites selling either of these units have 2 types of adapters, but I don't think either
would work
for either Duos or a 2400c.

Anyone think that I could hack up a 2400c AC adapter and splice it into this battery
system? The
unit actually plugs into some other adapter, which in turn plugs into your laptop.

It would be nice to have my 2400c run for 10 hours on battery alone ~_^
