Hi Donna, what do you mean by loops?
I do know from the very little experience I have with a duo is that the batteries being so old now are nearing or have already met the end of their life. Perhaps you need a new battery.

I want to use it for word processing and some dial in web checking.
Unfortunately it has been VERY uncooperative battery wise. It starts up then
loops. Sometimes. I need to try it again soon.
