Ah, Just got one of those working. Was using a 280c for like
the past month, got a 2300 working fully yesterday. :) Now to top out
the memory, get the IDE cable and a larger IDE drive (what is the
largest the 2300 can take BTW).
Batteries are not bad bad... you can recell them. Costs about
$25 to do as of a year or so ago. Luckily the battery pack is fairly
basic compared to like the Digital HiNote packs... yikes!
