The crystal for overclocking isnt too hard to get, as long as you are willing 
to mail order it.  I think I got mine (its the same type of part used in the 
1400 bus overclock, too) from Digikey.

I kept mine at 108 MHz using a 36 Mhz clock, and I added improved cooling 
(better gap pad).  I havnt had any problems yet.

Nope...the 2300 does not have a removeable processor....I clock-chipped my unit to 112 mhz once, but really saw no difference...and I don't recommend anyone doing that, either.  I did the experiment on a flakey 2300 logic w/PM problems, so if I toasted it, no big loss.  The crystal is not easy to find, either.
